PURPOSE
To maintain electrical and electromechanical assets by ensuring safety, reliability, and performance, while implementing maintenance standards, overseeing contractors, and managing resources to deliver effective asset management plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Eng. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA Professional Engineer or Technologist
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in maintenance operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of the railway industry at an international level
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels and board members, delegate effectively, supervise and control operations, and make sound decisions through negotiation
- Fluent in English
