HR Officer

PURPOSE:

To provide end‑to‑end Human Resources support across operations, covering administration, recruitment, training, performance and talent management, and employee relations including formal representation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Diploma in HR or Industrial Psychology
  • 5–7 years HR experience at junior/mid‑management level
  • Proven labour relations management track record
  • Experience with SAGE People and other HRIS systems
  • Strong HR expertise in administration, recruitment, training, performance, talent and change management, employee relations, and labour legislation (LRA)
  • Proficient in MS Office; skilled in SAGE 300, ReMeasure, Lexis Nexis checks, Graylink e‑recruitment, and HR software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with influence, persuasion, and ability to command respect
Maintenance Contract Supervisor – Control & Instrumentation

PURPOSE:

To manage maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness while overseeing contractor performance, asset reliability, and continuous improvement across infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (BTech/BEng/BSc) with project/contract management training
  • 7–10 years’ maintenance experience in light current systems (PLCs, instrumentation, BMS, SCADA)
  • Expertise in automation, fire detection, access control, building systems, and safety management
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience managing outsourced maintenance contracts; proficiency in Maximo CMMS
  • Valid driver’s license with safe manual driving experience
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English
Maintenance Electrical Manager

PURPOSE

To maintain electrical and electromechanical assets by ensuring safety, reliability, and performance, while implementing maintenance standards, overseeing contractors, and managing resources to deliver effective asset management plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Eng. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • ECSA Professional Engineer or Technologist
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience in maintenance operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the railway industry at an international level
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels and board members, delegate effectively, supervise and control operations, and make sound decisions through negotiation
  • Fluent in English
Procurement and Contract Manager

PURPOSE
To manage tendering, procurement, compliance, and supplier relations while ensuring governance, safety standards, SED obligations, contract integration, and effective fleet and stock management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree / BCom in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years’ working experience in a similar role at Managerial level
  • Must have Project Management experience with strong skills in change management, coaching, mentoring, and communication
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate) and PowerPoint (Advanced)
  • Code B driver’s license with proven driving experience

Asset Management Engineer

PURPOSE
To maximize the performance, safety, and lifespan of post-installation solar PV systems through diligent maintenance oversight, technical troubleshooting, and industry compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a credible university
  • 1-2 years of experience in solar PV maintenance, preferably within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting and asset management of solar power systems, especially in large-scale installations
  • Experience with solar monitoring platforms and analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills to report issues and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in troubleshooting and system repair scenarios
  • A commitment to honesty, hard work, and a passion for renewable energy
  • Valid Driver’s License
Human Resources Generalist

PURPOSE


To deploy human resources management processes by collaborating with management to drive employee relations and talent acquisition, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution to support organisational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law or related
  • 5 years’ HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing, multi-unionized environment
  • Solid experience in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, policy & procedure reviews
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, planning, organising & execution skills
  • Proven skills in writing, influencing, facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management & relationship building
  • Experience in supervisory roles, emotional intelligence & conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
