Human Resources Generalist

PURPOSE


To deploy human resources management processes by collaborating with management to drive employee relations and talent acquisition, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution to support organisational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law or related
  • 5 years’ HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing, multi-unionized environment
  • Solid experience in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, policy & procedure reviews
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, planning, organising & execution skills
  • Proven skills in writing, influencing, facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management & relationship building
  • Experience in supervisory roles, emotional intelligence & conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Human Resources Generalist

PURPOSE :

To deploy HR management processes by partnering with management to drive organisational design, job profiling, talent acquisition, employee relations and end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions while balancing tactical planning with hands-on operational execution.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or related. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ HR generalist experience serving multiple functions in a manufacturing and multi-unionised environment, with working experience in organisational design, job profiling and Human Resource Information Systems. 
  • Must come from the FMCG, Manufacturing, or Mining sectors. 
  • Must demonstrate strong experience in Employment Relations, including handling complex workplace issues. 
  • Proven track record in representing the company in cases at the CCMA. 
  • Must possess comprehensive, end-to-end HR experience, covering generalist HR functions.
