Executive Portfolio Performance and Delivery

PURPOSE
To drive people and performance outcomes across collections, while delivering the expected return on investment. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law 
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (advantageous) 
  • 8+ years at senior management level in the collections and legal recovery industry 
  • Proven track record of delivering collection and recovery performance across acquired portfolios 
  • Ability to advise the COO and C-suite and lead multiple layers of leadership 
  • Expert knowledge of the NCA, Debt Collectors Act, Consumer Protection Act, Prescription Act and the court acts 
  • Command of campaign, dialler and workforce management frameworks 
  • Fluency in IPM, AC, revenue, ERC and GP, and in the financial statement impact ofamortisation
Finance Transformation Senior Manager

PURPOSE

To enable technology-driven accounting advisory and finance transformation through data, analytics and automation, enhancing delivery quality, scalability and client value

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Chartered Accountant (South Africa)
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in industry or with a recognized consulting firm
  • Experience with finance functions – Record to report processes (account reconciliations, journals, transaction matching, variance analysis, intercompany)
  • Knowledge of Financial Consolidation and Close, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning and Budgeting Processes
  • Open to travel (Domestic & International)
Bookkeeper and Administrator

PURPOSE
To provide accurate and timely financial information and support financial record preparation and business decision-making, using strong Pastel and financial data skills. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar position 
  • Experience in bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable 
  • Knowledge of payroll, tax returns and financial audits 
  • Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills 
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Pastel
Head: Asset Backed Recoveries

PURPOSE:

To lead the end-to-end commercial performance, optimisation and governance of all asset-backed recovery portfolios

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law with a Management qualification; postgraduate qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience, including 5 years in legal collections at senior management level
  • Strong commercial acumen, digital and systems literacy, and a client and stakeholder-centric approach
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with strategic thinking, accountability, decisiveness, and a strong ethical and governance focus
Risk Analyst – Investment Performance Measurement & Attribution

PURPOSE:

To provide specialist expertise in model development, validation, quantitative research, portfolio optimisation, and related investment functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Postgraduate degree (NQF 8) in Finance, Engineering, Investment Management, Risk Management, Econometrics or a related field, with a Master’s degree in a relevant field being advantageous
  • 5–8 years’ relevant experience in investment management or financial services, including at least 2 years’ experience in portfolio management, financial risk, model development or financial markets
  • CFA, CIPM, PRM or FRM qualification is advantageous
  • Knowledge of GIPS® is advantageous
  • Strong academic research capabilities
  • Proficiency in R, Python or MATLAB and Microsoft Office Suite
Finance Clerk (Cashier)

PURPOSE
To handle petty cash, payments, bookkeeping, bursary debt, and admin tasks by verifying, reconciling, capturing, processing, and maintaining accurate financial records efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) certificate or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • Basic accounting and mathematical skills
  • Broad experience in financial administration, including salaries, travel and subsistence, debtor and creditor control, and management of clearing/suspense accounts
  • Solid knowledge and practical understanding of BAS and Safetyweb systems
  • Strong knowledge of banking account structures and configurations within National Departments
  • Strong grasp of GRAP standards and theoretical knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Computer literacy
