Head: Asset Backed Recoveries

PURPOSE:

To lead the end-to-end commercial performance, optimisation and governance of all asset-backed recovery portfolios

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law with a Management qualification; postgraduate qualification advantageous
Minimum 7 years’ experience, including 5 years in legal collections at senior management level
Strong commercial acumen, digital and systems literacy, and a client and stakeholder-centric approach
Strong leadership and management skills, with strategic thinking, accountability, decisiveness, and a strong ethical and governance focus

Risk Analyst – Investment Performance Measurement & Attribution

PURPOSE:

To provide specialist expertise in model development, validation, quantitative research, portfolio optimisation, and related investment functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Postgraduate degree (NQF 8) in Finance, Engineering, Investment Management, Risk Management, Econometrics or a related field, with a Master’s degree in a relevant field being advantageous
5–8 years’ relevant experience in investment management or financial services, including at least 2 years’ experience in portfolio management, financial risk, model development or financial markets
CFA, CIPM, PRM or FRM qualification is advantageous
Knowledge of GIPS® is advantageous
Strong academic research capabilities
Proficiency in R, Python or MATLAB and Microsoft Office Suite

PURPOSE
To handle petty cash, payments, bookkeeping, bursary debt, and admin tasks by verifying, reconciling, capturing, processing, and maintaining accurate financial records efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) certificate or an equivalent relevant qualification
Basic accounting and mathematical skills
Broad experience in financial administration, including salaries, travel and subsistence, debtor and creditor control, and management of clearing/suspense accounts
Solid knowledge and practical understanding of BAS and Safetyweb systems
Strong knowledge of banking account structures and configurations within National Departments
Strong grasp of GRAP standards and theoretical knowledge of GAAP principles
Computer literacy

Director: Finance Transformation

PURPOSE

To lead Finance Transformation growth by managing sales, teams, clients, and delivery to meet business and ethical targets.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Commerce, preferably Accounting, Business Management or Business Administration
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Financial Management
At least 5 years in Sales/Business Development at Senior Management level or above. Executive Level experience is advantageous
Expert knowledge of Finance Transformation + experience running large-scale projects and leading large teams
Experience in costing/estimating, negotiation, risk assessment in management consulting
Ability to provide value-added solutions across other lines of service
Proven Sales Management, Business principles, budgeting and financial modeling experience
